Thanksgiving

Let me do this the lazy way;
Thanksgiving Day is traditionally a day for families and friends to get together for a special meal. The meal often includes a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, pumpkin pie, and vegetables. Thanksgiving Day is a time for many people to give thanks for what they have.
Thanksgiving Day parades are held in some cities and towns on or around Thanksgiving Day. Some parades or festivities also mark the opening of the Christmas shopping season. Some people have a four-day weekend so it is a popular time for trips and to visit family and friends.

So we had Thanksgiving on Thursday, November the 28th. As the quotation says, there are parades held in some cities, and one of them is New York which we watched in the television.

Then I went for a walk with Jenny, and I celebrated Thanksgiving with the Hopes. Here are a few pictures;

Jenny was so proud that she was cooking.

A funny towel and the turkey in the oven.

Foooood

More foooood

Then we went to the camp.

Mere and I are making american scramble eggs.

Randy is making french toast.

Little Juster-puppy-dog.

I thought I had more pictures than that… but guess what…. I didn't.. :p
Well, I have this one of Jenny, Meredith, and I:

Then Meredith, Jenny, and I headed home, and to a football game in Dallas Cowboys Stadium. It is a big building that looks like a spaceship. When Jenny told me about this, it made such a big impression on me, that I dreamt about spaceships the following night… Hehe..
Well it was so much fun!!;
Our team was green and black, so Meredith brought me a green bow.

The big screen. Jenny and I were actually on this screen.
- It was NOT fun…. ;)

Yaaaay! Go football, go football… We looooove yoooouuuuuuu!
Football is the best!

College

I staid 3 days after the football game the 26th of October (http://texaaas.blogspot.com/2013/11/football-game.html) with Meredith at College Station, Aggieland, Texas A&M University, call it what you want.. ;)

It was so fun, I had a great time with a very nice person! Meredith lives at College Station in a dorm with another girl. They have a room each, and a living room and bathroom to share.

I tell you, we had so much fun!
Mere had a test one of the days in construction science, so now I know a lot about bricks… In English. And then we went to history, and math class.

History class!

Studying!

History class!

Then we baked banana bread with two of Meredith's friends, Alichia and Tanja... And we dipped strawberries in chocolate! And I dared to eat 3!! My first strawberry in 3 years! And it was good!!!! ;)

5 banana breads!
Strawberry!!
I went to visit Mere again November the 24th-27th, and this time Charlie went with us. We drove for 3 hours from Southlake to College Station, had a great dinner, and went to bed late… ;)

On tuesday Mere had history and math class, and we rode in a bus for 20 minutes, hang around for 1.5 hour, when Mere got sick, so we went home 10 minutes before the first class. But that's okay. We had fun before she got sick;

We had so much this time too, and this time I learned about wood in construction science… (Mere had a test again! In construction science again! But this time about wood. )

As I told in another blog, Dr. White graduated from ATM too and when I told him I was going to ATM, he told me to go to Dixie Chicken (a burger bar with pool tables and a snake). So of course we went there, and I had my first burger for a long time. ;) It was a really good burger though!

Random facts

I went to a wedding in Lafayette (Louisiana) with the Hopes. October the 5th. It was Randy’s cousin, Andree who got married. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a lot of fun.

The beautiful wedding cake!

Unfortunately it is out of focus, but I like it anyway!
This is the Hope family!

For the first time in my life (as I remember), I sat on Santa Claus’ lap.

Jenny, Beth, and I went to the racetrack, to see one of Dr. White’s racehorses. The name of the horse was Portugee. Unfortunately he didn’t win.

Horse no. 8 is Dr. White's horse.
The picture down to the right is Beth and Jenny.

I went to a very big store with all kinds of horse things.

On October the 20th I went on a trail ride for 2 hours. The horse was very sweet; he only bucked a few times… ;)

I just like this. It is pretty. It is from the Grapevine Festival. What a great 30 minutes Randy, Jenny, and I spent at that place.

The 19th of October, I went to a cow-sorting clinic. I was supposed to ride Pudge, but the horse trailer didn’t work, so we rented a cute horse instead. He was sweet, and I had a lot of fun!

I don’t know why you would care, but for breakfast I eat Greek yoghurt, with a little syrup, flaxseed, cereal, and grapes or melon.

I have been to church twice. The second time we (Charlie, Meredith, and I) went to a big modern (I think that would be the right word) church called “White Chapel”. It was more like being to a concert with a little of praying.

I made rice pudding one evening for Beth and Brad. I was surprised that it didn’t taste bad. The dinner version was really good, the dessert version is better in Denmark because of the special rice we have.

My mom sent me a horse magazine, a sweet postcard, and a nail file. Don’t ask me why she would send me a nail file. But I guess it was very kind of her though.

The movie "The Wizard of Oz" is one of the most beloved movies of all time in America, and a part of American popular culture. I think it was the first movie with color in the production which also made it so popular. So of course Beth made me watch this movie!

"We're not in Kansas anymore", "Follow the yellow brick road", "There's no place like home", and some others that I don't remember.. ;)

I have went to the movie theater twice in one week! Never done that before. Both times with Beth. We went to the Harkins Theatres to see "Last Vegas", a really funny movie.

Three days later we went to a 3D movie theater (Cause I have never tried that either) to see "Thor". I like the effect at some points, and at other points it's just confusing. But it was so fun to try!!

Yo, what's up!
